Bebe Nanaki's Loving Faith

Nanak had an elder sister named Nanaki who loved him dearly. While others sometimes thought her little brother strange — lost in thought, giving away his things — Nanaki saw the light in him from the start.

She was the first person to believe in Guru Nanak and his message of one loving God. She supported and encouraged him with all her heart, and once gave him a rabab so his hymns could be sung.

Her gentle faith in him, before anyone else understood, is remembered with great love.
