Two magnificent horses, lovingly raised as gifts for Guru Hargobind, were unfairly taken away before they could reach him. The Sikhs were sad, but Bhai Bidhi Chand had a clever, daring plan.
Using his quick wits and great courage — not violence — he managed, through cleverness and disguise, to recover first one horse, and then the other, returning them safely to the Guru.
His devotion was matched by his cleverness. He showed that a faithful heart and a clever mind, working together, can set right what is unfair.
