Guru Hargobind wore two swords. One, he said, stood for the spirit — for prayer, kindness, and love of God. The other stood for protecting people, especially the weak and those treated unfairly.
He taught that being good is not only about quiet prayer; sometimes it also means having the courage to stand up and defend others from harm.
A true person, he showed, is gentle and prayerful in their heart, yet brave enough to protect what is right.
