Kabir's Open Hands

Kabir wove fine cloth to sell at market, but on the way he would meet hungry holy men and poor families, and he would give away his cloth — and the little money he earned — to whoever needed it.

He often came home with empty hands, having sold nothing, yet his heart was full and light. His family sometimes worried, but somehow there was always just enough.

Kabir believed that what we give away in love is never truly lost — it is the only thing we really keep.

🌱 A thought to carry away

What we give to those in need is never lost — it enriches the heart.
