The Wall That Turned

Bhagat Namdev loved God with his whole heart, but one day some people turned him away from the front of a temple because of his humble background.

So Namdev simply went around to the back of the temple and sang his songs of love there, in the dust, asking for nothing but a glimpse of the divine.

His devotion was so pure that, the old story tells, the temple itself turned around to face him. Love, it showed, cannot be shut out by any wall or door.
