The Friend No One Else Would Touch

In one town there lived a man so ill that everyone kept far away from him, leaving him lonely and afraid at the edge of the village.

Guru Nanak walked straight to him, sat down beside him without fear, spoke to him with warmth, and treated him as a dear friend and equal.
