ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ, ਰਚਣਹਾਰ ਤੇ ਸਰਬ-ਬਿਆਪੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ। ਉਹ ਨਿੱਡਰ, ਕੀਨਾ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਅਜਨਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
