ਓਇ ਅਗੈ ਕੁਸਟੀ. ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਫਿਟਕੇ; ਜਿ ਓਸੁ ਮਿਲੈ. ਤਿਸੁ ਕੁਸਟੁ ਉਠਾਹੀ ॥

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਿਰਕਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੀ ਕੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਕੋੜ੍ਹ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

They have already become like lepers; cursed by the Guru, whoever meets them is also afflicted with leprosy.

Hidden within it are the jewels of mystery; how rare is that Gurmukh, that selfless servant, who digs them out.

ਜਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਤਾਣੇ ਪੇਟੇ ਦੀ ਮਾਨੰਦ ਉਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ।

When someone realizes the All-pervading Soul, then he sees the One and Only Lord permeating, through and through.
ਇਕੁ ਦੇਖਿਆ. ਇਕੁ ਮੰਨਿਆ; ਇਕੋ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਸ੍ਰਵਣ ਸਰੋਤਿ ॥

ਉਹ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਤੇ ਹੀ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੇਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਕਨਸੋਆਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
