ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਵਲੋ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੋੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਮਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਿਕਾਉਂਦਾ,

If someone turns his face away from the Guru, and does not enshrine the Guru's Words in his consciousness
ਕਰਿ ਆਚਾਰ. ਬਹੁ ਸੰਪਉ ਸੰਚੈ; ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰੈ. ਸੁ ਨਰਕਿ ਪਰੈ ॥੪॥

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿਤਨੀ ਧਨ-ਦੌਲਤ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਘਣੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਉਹ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੌਜਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੀ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

- he may perform all sorts of rituals and accumulate wealth, but in the end, he will fall into hell. ||4||

ਇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਹਿਦ ਰਜਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

The One Shabad, the Word of the One God, is prevailing everywhere. All the creation came from the One Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਇ ਰਲੈ ॥੫॥੬॥

ਨਾਨਕ, ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਗ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਉਹ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਈਂ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

O Nanak, the Gurmukh is united in union. When the Gurmukh goes, he blends into the Lord, Har, Har. ||5||6||
