Common thread

Three voices, one message — the divine is one, even when we call it by different names.

Echo

The Rig Veda's “Ekam sad” (the One Truth) and the Guru's “Ik Onkar” (the One) are the very same idea — One, expressed in two tongues.

📖 A story to understand

As a boy, Nanak was told to wear the sacred thread of his caste. He gently refused, asking instead for a thread of compassion and truth — one that never frays or burns. To him, the same One lived in every temple and every mosque.
