Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language policy template. Please have it reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on it, especially for India’s DPDP Act 2023, the EU GDPR and US state laws.
What we collect
- Account details — your email and (optionally) name, stored encrypted at rest.
- Activity — what you read, save, your XP/streak and your saved Yātrā (to power the experience).
- Birth details — if you use the astrology/Star-Temple features, the date, time and place you enter are used to compute your chart. Treat this as sensitive; we use it only to generate your reading and do not sell it.
- Enquiries & payments — the name, contact and details you provide for a guided-tour enquiry or a purchase. Card details are handled solely by our payment gateway; we never see or store them.
How we use it
To run your account, personalise content, respond to enquiries, process payments, keep the service secure, and (only if you opt in) send occasional updates.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to operate: our payment gateway (Razorpay/Stripe), our email/hosting providers, and analytics if enabled. We do notsell your data. Charities featured under “Support” are independent — donating on their site is governed by their privacy policy.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and associated data, write to us at the address below and we will action it promptly.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and your language/theme preference. We don’t use advertising cookies.
