Dhruva was a little boy who once felt left out and sad. Instead of staying upset, he decided to search for something that could never be taken away from him — and he set off, all on his own, with a brave little heart.
In the quiet of the forest he sat very still and thought only of God, with all his love and patience. He did not give up when he grew tired, or when the days passed. His thoughts were as steady as could be.
His love was so true that, the old story says, God lifted Dhruva up and placed him high in the night sky as the Pole Star — the one star that never moves, that travellers have followed home for thousands of years.
