Krishna and the Bent Woman
As Krishna walked through the city, he met Trivakra, a woman whose back was so bent she had been mocked all her life. She kindly offered him sweet-smelling sandal paste.
Touched by her gentle heart, Krishna gently placed his foot on her toes, lifted her chin with two fingers — and her bent back straightened, so she stood tall and well.
She had given him a small kindness without expecting anything; he returned it with a far greater one. Both gave freely, from the heart.
🌱 A thought to carry away
Small kindnesses, freely given, have a way of returning multiplied.
