A great elephant carelessly trampled a sparrow's nest, breaking her precious eggs. The little sparrow was heartbroken — but she did not give up. She gathered her friends: a woodpecker, a frog, and a fly.
Together they made a clever plan. The fly buzzed in the elephant's ear, the woodpecker pecked his eyes, and when the dazzled elephant searched for water, the frog croaked from the edge of a deep pit.
Following the croak, the elephant tumbled into the pit. Four small creatures, working together, had taught a giant to be careful of others.
