ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਡੋਲਦੀ ਹੈਂ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੜੀਏ? ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।

Why do you waver, O my mind? The Lord is the Fulfiller of hopes and desires.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਤੂ; ਸਭਿ ਦੁਖ ਵਿਸਾਰਣਹਾਰੁ ॥

ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੁਖੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨਹਾਰ ਹਨ।

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਐਸੀ ਆਰੰਭ ਦੀ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਲਿਖਤਾਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਸਰੂਪ-ਰਹਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਰਹੜੀ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
