ਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਾ; ਮਰਦੈ ਮਾਨੁ ॥

ਜੌ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਦੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਸੁਟਦਾ ਹੈ,

He crushes the pride of the Messenger of Death.
ਤਿਸੁ ਮੁਲਾ ਕਉ; ਸਦਾ ਸਲਾਮੁ ॥੧॥
tis mulaa kau; sadaa salaam |1|
