ਆਪ ਹੁਦਰੀ ਬੇਸਮਝ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਤ੍ਰੀਮਤ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਵੰਞਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਓੜਕ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਤਾਉਂਦੀਂ ਹੈ।

The self-willed, ignorant and disgraceful manmukh wastes her life in vain, and in the end, she comes to grief.
ਆਪਣਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਿ. ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ; ਤਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਦੂਰੇ ॥

ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅਮਰ ਆਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਹੀ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

But when she serves her True Guru, she obtains peace, and then she meets her Husband Lord, face to face.

ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਖਿੜ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

Beholding her Husband Lord, she blossoms forth; her heart is delighted, and she is beautified by the True Word of the Shabad.
