ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਬੇਸਮਝ ਬੰਦੇ ਗਲ ਸੜ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Without the Guru, no one has obtained the Lord; the ignorant rot away and die. ||17||
